Jam Session - Cerrito and Dannon
Joe Cerrito is well known for his lively Bee-Bop jazz throughout the East Coast. Joe accompanied many music legends - Bob Wilbur, Claude Thornhill, Steve Allen, Sarah Vaughan, Harry Bellafonte, among others. He appeared in the movie "True Lies" and has recorded a CD ("Dedication") with his quartet. His spontaneous jazz is a "must hear" feature at the prestigious Newport, RI jazz festival, attended by many talented musicians throughout the world. Improvisation, as Joe does so effortlessly with his rhythmically unique style, brings enlightenment and entertainment to these devotees.

Born in Italy, Tony started playing at the tender age of three. His God-given talent was recognized by his father (himself an accomplished accordionist), and later by the great Pellegrini. Taught by these outstanding musicians and with much hard work (practicing at least 5-6 hours each day), he emerged as an accordionist who is considered to be among the finest.

Tony, like most men of his day, proudly served in the armed forces in WW II where he entertained homesick soldiers, putting smiles on their faces and lightened their steps and hearts. Emerging from military service, he taught for the famous Gus Zoppi. Then he opened the much acclaimed Modern Accordion Studio with his partner Ollie Petrini - known for being the "School of Champions," with unique musical and technical innovations developed by Tony and his staff.
